We are centered in the middle of 7 different surfing beaches, making it easy access by foot, bike and car. We are located in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, on the outer skirts of the Rio City, 40min down the coast from Ipanema. Its easy to access by bus, taxi, or we can arrange you a pick up with our driver.
This area Macumba and Recreio is ranked the best and most consistent surf beaches in the Rio City, and held the 2008 the Girls WQS and WCT (world top 44 surfers comp) Meline Bartals (HAW) winner of the WCT , stayed at this Surf Camp .
Close to the Surf Camp is the secluded beaches Prainha and Grumari which have amazing jungle mountain backdrop with no development, and on a hot weekend day, are the favorite hangout beaches for surfers, famous actors, and Brazilian hot bodies. Grumari is even the spot where the beach scene from the movie City of God was filmed. These are the safest, cleanest and most relaxed beaches.
Owned by young Surf crazy travellers, (Katrina) New Zealander and (Mauro) Brazilian. Both being well travelled surfers, they have put this interesting house together for you to fall in love with surfing.
